Tina Turner is known the world over for songs from Proud Mary, to What’s Love got to do with it. But much of her life was unknown until we got a glimpse of her abusive marriage to Ike Turner as portrayed in the movie, What’s Love Got to Do With It. Recently HBO has released a documentary called TINA, detailing Tina Turner’s life more in more detail. All of her pain, but more importantly her perseverance to create a beautiful life for herself was on full display. Join us as we talk about Tina Turner and discover her again for the first time.
